SOUTHERN MOTOR CARAVAN SHOW
This event is relatively new to
the Warners show calendar but has been established for more than 20
years. Since we took over the event in 2003 it has enjoyed considerable
growth and now presents around 150 specialist traders. The 2005 show
welcomed more than 1500
motorcaravans, caravans and campers who "pitched-up" for a long weekend
and
around 6,700 day visitors over the course of the 3 days.

SHOWMAN'S SHOW
is the only outdoor show of its
kind in the UK, if not the world. The first Showman's Show was held in
1984 at the Newark Showground, with only 80 or so exhibitors. Until
1989 the show was held every two years but due to demand, from
exhibitors and show visitors alike, Lance Publications made the
decision to hold the event annually. Initially it moved around the
country but eventually settled at the Newbury Showground, which has
been its home for the last 11 years.Today the show attracts more than
4,000 visitors over two days and boasts in excess of 400 exhibitors,
who show the most sophisticated structures, equipment and entertainment
demanded by the event industry at large.

KINGSBRIDGE SHOW
Kingsbridge Show continues to grow
whilst trying to maintain that local feel, keeping it's traditional
agricultural and horticultural roots. It has been running for 123 years
- this being
the 52nd year it has been held at Borough Farm, Kingsbridge. There is
something for everyone – and so much to see and do – it’s a great
family day out whether you farm, ride or just want to see “a little
piece of rural England” and enjoy
the atmosphere. The main ring attraction for 2005 is the racing camels.
The
cattle and sheep classes are very well supported and horses feature
strongly in the Kingsbridge Show – their events running right through
the day. The 6-Bar Show Jumping knockout Competition, run in the main
ring last year, is
a new open class this year. Driving is also making a welcome return.
Static attractions include a Craft Tent, South Hams Food & Drink,
the Country Scene tent, the Young Farmers section, a Woodland Tent,
Horticultural, Homecraft, Floral and children’s classes.
